Privacy Policy regarding personal data

This Privacy Policy will help you understand what personal data we collect and what we do with it, as well as how you can protect your privacy in connection with the services we provide.

1. WHY DO WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA?

We use data files for the following purposes:

     ‐ The manufacture of lenses for which optical measurements and data specific to each wearer are required;
     ‐ The registration of wearers’ files in order to ensure traceability and follow-up of orders placed with us as well as the processing of any complaints;
     ‐ Sending and/or invoicing to healthcare professionals for lenses and products we sell;
     ‐ Commercial relations with healthcare professionals in the context of exchanges with sales representatives and through letters, e-mails and e-mailings, etc.;
     ‐ The training we provide to healthcare professionals.

3. WHO ARE THE RECIPIENTS OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Within the strict framework of the purposes set out in Article 1, we may be required to communicate your personal data to our subcontractors who process this data on our instructions and on our behalf: the host of our Website, our IT service providers, payment service providers, technology service provider.

This data is kept for the duration necessary to manage the commercial relationship.

4. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE APPLICABLE REGULATIONS?

4.a - General case

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, amended in 2004, any Customer has the right to access, rectify, update or object to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, which he/she may exercise with PRECILENS:

4.b - Specific case related to the “Transparency” system

Pursuant to Decree No. 2013-414 of 21 May 2013 on the transparency of any relationship of interest, the Precilens laboratory is required to make public the existence of agreements it has concluded with healthcare professionals and the benefits and remuneration in excess of € 10 including tax that it may grant in the context of professional exchanges.
Since the “Transparency” system is mandatory, the right to object to the collection and processing of data is therefore not applicable.

5. HOW IS THE SECURITY OF YOUR DATA ENSURED?

Your data is processed electronically and/or manually in such a way that its security, protection and confidentiality are ensured.

The PRECILENS laboratory implements the necessary technical and organisational actions to ensure the security and integrity of information systems in order to prevent the loss or theft as well as unauthorised use, disclosure or modification of all processed data.

6. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy may change, in particular due to legislative and regulatory developments.
